Google is known as a strong head of the web-search business. Its aim is to supply significant information and innovative products to its customers.

The Google logo is a very simple logo made up of a simple font and some basic colors. Every once in a while, you will see the Google logo change to represent a current topic e.g holi festival, football world cup, Christmas etc. These types of logos are called Google doodles.The doodles are currently created by Dennis Hwang and he has created over 150 doodles since he started working at Google,but first doodle was produced by the founders Larry page and Sergey brin.The logo was produced when they attended the Burning Man festival in summer 1999. They set a slight stick outline on the home page logo in case the site crashed and someone wanted to know why nobody was answering the telephone.


1998-Starting Logo

In 1998 Sergey Brin formed a computerized version of the Google script using the free graphics agenda GNU Image Manipulation Program

1999-Present Logo

The current Google logo was designed by Ruth Kedar. It is a wordmark based on the Catull typeface.

In 2010, the Google logo received its first major and permanent overhaul since 1999. The new logo was first tested in November 2009, and was officially launched on May 6, 2010. It utilizes an identical typeface to the previous logo, but features a distinctly orange-colored "o" in place of the previous yellowish "o", as well as more slight shadow rendered in a different shading method.
Doodle History

Over the years, doodles on the Google homepage have made searching on Google more fun and enjoyable for its users worldwide. When doodles were first created, nobody had anticipated how popular and integral they would become to the Google search experience. Nowadays, many users excitedly anticipate the release of each new doodle and some even collect them!

Doodles are known as the decorative changes that are made to the Google logo to celebrate holidays, anniversaries, and the lives of famous artists and scientists. Whether it is the beginning of Spring, Albert Einstein's birthday, or the 50th anniversary of understanding DNA, the doodle team never fails to find artistic ways to celebrate these unique events.

Having a little bit of fun with the corporate logo by redesigning it from time to time is unheard of at many companies but at Google, it is a part of the brand. While the doodle is primarily a fun way for the company to recognize events and notable people, it also illustrates the creative and innovative personality of the company itself.

Would anyone actually need to use Google Doodles? Aside from the Doodle store and the fan site for those moments of Doodle encouragement, probably not; but it might inspire you with ideas on "doodling" your own logo as you scroll through the different ways the word Google has been "doodled" over the many major and minor holidays we have celebrated.
